How large the photos are delivered

Ab Tarif Basic Tarife ansehen

In the settings you choose the length of the longer edge of the delivered photos: 1200 or 2880 pixels. The choice covers all your Snap-ins and takes effect at once, including those already embedded somewhere.

We only scale down. A photo uploaded smaller than that stays as small as it is.

Approved addresses

List the addresses your Snap-ins are allowed to appear on, one per line. The domain is enough; we cut off https and any path. example.com also covers www.example.com and blog.example.com.

The list blocks nothing by itself. It decides what counts as unusual in the report.

Where your Snap-in has been seen

For every Snap-in we record which addresses it was loaded from and how often. Addresses missing from your list are highlighted, and the button shows a red signal.

If you want, we email you as soon as a new address like that turns up. Often it is harmless: a guest post, a venue page, a client linking to you. If it fits, add the address and it stops standing out.

Serving photos only on your addresses

If you like, we serve the photos exclusively on the approved addresses. Copy the Snap-in elsewhere and it comes up empty there.

Three things come with that. Many browsers and privacy settings send no referrer at all; we let those requests through, otherwise honest visitors would be shut out. If your own address is missing from the list, your Snap-in stays empty on your own website. And the photos then come from our server instead of the fast cache, so they load a little slower.
