Take the Selection, Edit and Deliver
Once the selection is final it is frozen. You copy the file names or fetch the selection with the Lightroom plugin, put the edited files in place with “Replace photo” and release the download.

After the selection is final #
Ab Tarif Studio Tarife ansehenWhen your clients finalise the selection, the proofing status shows the date. After that the selection can only change if you open it again.
Look first at which images were picked within the quota, which extra photos are waiting and which comments are still open.
Take over the file names #
Ab Tarif Studio Tarife ansehenThe menu with the three dots holds “Copy file names”. aftersnap copies them without extensions, separated by spaces.
Lightroom, library filter: Text > Filename > ContainsWith the aftersnap plugin you can fetch the selection straight into a Lightroom collection instead.
Put the edited images in place #

- Click “Replace photo” and choose the edited file.
- Wait until processing has finished.
Do not delete a selected image in order to upload the finished version. Selection and comments live on the image and would be gone. “Replace photo” keeps position, selection, extra status and the message thread.
Release the download #
Ab Tarif Studio Tarife ansehenWhen the gallery is set to “The selection comes to you, you deliver later”, nothing is delivered until you release it.
- Replace the selected images with the finished files.
- Work through open comments and extra photos.
- Click “Release download” in the proofing status and confirm.
If your clients left an email address when finalising, aftersnap points out the notification before the release. With “Selected photos can be downloaded straight away” this step falls away for the included images; extra photos still need your release.
Open the gallery with the proofing password in a private browser window. The selected and released images must download from there.
