Create a collage and choose photos

A slide is 1440 × 1800 pixels, the 4:5 portrait format Instagram delivers carousels in. A new collage starts with one slide; more come from filling automatically, from the building blocks or from “+ Slide”.

A carousel has at most 20 slides. Instagram does not accept more.

The selection window shows every photo of the chosen galleries in rows by aspect ratio. A click marks a photo; hold Shift to mark everything between two clicks.

Only the marked photos appear in the strip along the bottom, in the order they were taken. Your own uploads always stay in the strip.

You change the title in the editor with the pencil icon next to it (“Rename”).

“Duplicate” on the card in the overview creates a second version, say for another post from the same wedding. The copy takes over slides, photos, texts and the photo selection, and then sits first in the overview. Exports and the phone link stay with the original. The photos are not copied and take up no extra storage.

Delete a collage with the trash icon on its card. It does not go to the trash; it is gone at once, together with all its export files. Photos you uploaded with “Upload photos” only for this collage go for good at the same moment. If a duplicated version uses the same uploads, they stay until the last version is deleted as well.
