How Guests Download Photos
Depending on the download mode, guests take single photos, the whole gallery as a ZIP, or just their favourites. Large ZIP files are built in the background, and aftersnap sends an email once the file is ready.

Single photos or a ZIP #
Ab Tarif Basic Tarife ansehenWith “Single photos” guests take one file at a time. “Single photos + ZIP” adds “Download all photos”.
On iPhone and iPad a single photo goes to the Photos app, not to Files. After a tap on the download arrow the gallery loads the photo and opens the share menu, where guests pick “Save Image”.
Long press and right-click #
On a phone, a long press on a photo opens the browser menu. Whatever guests save from there is a smaller preview, not the original. What happens depends on your download mode.
With downloads allowed, the menu stays. Afterwards a short note explains that only the preview was saved and that the full resolution comes from the download arrow. Guests can turn the note off for their device.
With “No download”, or with a watermark on downloads, the gallery blocks the long press. On a computer, right-click and dragging photos out are blocked as well. A short message tells the guest why.
This stops guests who save in passing, not anyone determined: whatever is on screen can always be captured as a screenshot.
Favourites #
Ab Tarif Basic Tarife ansehenFavourites come back as a smaller ZIP of their own. A selection made with the content filter can be downloaded together as well.
Large galleries #
Ab Tarif Basic Tarife ansehenWith many images aftersnap builds the ZIP in the background. Rather than waiting, guests leave their email address and get the link once the file is ready.
That address is used for this one notification only. The window that asks for it says so.
The watermark in downloads #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenIn a delivery gallery a watermark sits on the downloaded files only. On screen the photos stay free of it.
Proofing mode is different: there the watermark can sit on the previews and only disappears when you release the images.
