Selfie Search, People and Content Search
Under “Search & AI” you switch selfie search and content search on per gallery; the analysis then runs in the background. On the “People” page you give detected people names, which reach your guests as filter chips.

Both analyse the photos once with AI. The analysis starts when you switch them on and carries on in the background; with a large gallery it takes a while. If you add images later, “Re-analyse” catches them up.
- Switch on “People & faces” so guests can find their photos with a selfie.
- Switch on “Content search” so guests can filter by subjects such as cake, dancing or beach.
Face recognition processes biometric data. Switch it on only when the people in the photos have agreed.
What guests get from it #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenThrough “Find your photos” guests upload a selfie after agreeing to it. aftersnap then shows every photo the same person appears in and offers them for download. The selfie is not stored and is deleted right after the search; the processing runs on our own servers in the EU.
The content search appears as a filter bar of subjects. A click shows only the matching photos, “Clear filter” brings the whole gallery back.
Naming people #

aftersnap groups the faces of a gallery into people. Without a name they stay invisible; a label is what turns one into a filter.
- Open the “People” page and start the detection if it has not run.
- Give the important tiles a label, bride, groom or family for instance.
- Switch on “Show to guests”.
Several tiles may carry the same label and are then merged. “Let clients add names” hands that job to your clients in the master view.
Open the gallery as a guest. Next to the subjects there are now people chips, and a click filters by them.
