Sort, Move and Replace Photos
You change the order by dragging, or with an automatic sort by file name or date taken. Several photos can be selected to move them into another set or delete them; single ones can be hidden, made the cover photo, or have their file replaced.

Single photos are dragged where you want them. For the whole batch there is the automatic sort: file name from A to Z or the other way round, date taken oldest or newest first, and “Reverse order”.
After an automatic sort you can still move single images by hand.
Several photos at once #
- Click “Select photos” and mark the images, or take “All”.
- Choose the target set of the same gallery under “Move to set…”.
- Or delete the selection in one go.
Moving works inside one gallery. Into another gallery images only travel through a new upload.
Hide a single photo #
The eye icon on an image takes it out of the guest view without deleting it.
Make it the cover photo #
The star icon on an image makes it the cover photo, for desktop or for mobile.
Replace an image instead of deleting it #
“Replace photo” swaps the file. Position, selection and comments stay on the image, because it remains the same image.
If a photo belongs to the selection of a proofing gallery or carries comments, aftersnap warns before deleting. Selection and comments would be gone for good; swapping the file is what “Replace photo” is for.
