Upload Photos
You upload photos through “Upload photos” or by dragging them into a set. aftersnap checks your storage first, spots images that are already there and processes the rest in the background; whole folders can become sets.

Uploading #
Open gallery Set Upload photos
- Click “Upload photos” in the set, or drag the files straight into it.
- Select the images and confirm.
An empty set says so itself: drop photos there or use the button above.
Whole folders as sets #
When you drag several folders into the upload area at once, aftersnap asks whether they should become sets. The number in brackets is how many photos each folder holds.
The set that is currently open takes the name of the first folder. aftersnap says beforehand what it will be called.
When storage runs out #
aftersnap works it out before the upload and shows how much your selection needs and how much is free.
- Take “Only upload what fits” to upload the part that still fits.
- Or free up storage by deleting old galleries for good.
- Or move to a larger plan through “Upgrade plan”.
Images that are already there #
Before uploading, aftersnap checks whether the files are already in the set and asks once for the whole batch.
- “Skip” leaves the existing image untouched.
- “Replace” swaps the file and keeps sorting, selection and comments.
- “Save as copy” keeps both; the new one gets a suffix.
In a proofing gallery “Replace” is the way to bring in the finished edit: your clients selection lives on the image and is kept.
Processing in the background #
After the upload aftersnap creates the preview sizes and, when switched on, runs the AI recognition. You can carry on working in the gallery.
Before sharing, wait until no image shows a processing status any more.
