Draft, Password, Master Access and Expiry Date
A new gallery is a draft and invisible to guests until you publish it. Beyond that you protect it with a guest password, give direct clients a master password with more rights, and set an expiry date where you need one.

A new gallery starts as a draft. Its link shows nothing, so you can upload and set things up in peace.
- Click the status “Draft” to publish.
- Click again to turn the gallery back into a draft.
Back to draft means a link you have already sent shows no photos any more. The gallery and everything on it stays.
Password protection #

Guests then meet a password field instead of the photos. A password you have set can be made visible again through the eye icon and overwritten.
- Switch on “Protect with a password”.
- Enter a password of at least four characters and save.
Open the gallery link in a private browser window. The password field must stand in front of the photos.
- The photos appear straight away despite the password.
- Then you are still signed in in this browser. The session remembers the password; a private window asks for it again.
Master password for direct clients #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenThe master password is a second password with more rights. Whoever signs in with it can hide single photos from all guests and show them again.
- Switch on “Set a master password”.
- Enter a password that differs from the guest password and save.
Give the master password to your direct clients only. Whoever holds it changes what everyone else sees.
Expiry date #
- Click “Set expiry date”.
- Choose the date and save.
After that day guests cannot reach the gallery any more. Without a date it stays online. The expiry date applies in proofing mode as well, where the setting itself is hidden.
Profile page and Google #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenTwo switches that have nothing to do with the link: “Show on profile page” puts the gallery on your public page, “Allow Google indexing” releases it to search engines.
Both are independent of publishing. A published gallery can still be reachable through its link alone.
