Changing your name, address, email and password
Under “Profile & Settings” you change your name, subdomain, email address, password and the language of your dashboard, and that is also where you sign up for the newsletter. You confirm a new email address through a link, and a changed subdomain breaks old gallery links.

Name and subdomain #

- Change the “Name” field. This name appears in your emails and on your profile page.
- Change “Your Subdomain” if you need to. Lower-case letters, digits and hyphens are allowed.
- Click “Save”.
The subdomain is part of every gallery address. Change it and every link you have already sent leads nowhere. Send them again afterwards, or connect your own domain instead.
Dashboard language #

- Pick a language under “Dashboard Language”, or “Automatic (Browser)”.
- Click “Save”.
The setting applies to your dashboard only. Your galleries keep picking the guests' language from their browser.
Changing your email address #

- Enter the new address in the “Email” field.
- Click “Save”. aftersnap sends a confirmation link to the new address right away, and you land on the “Confirm Your Email” page.
- Open the email at the new address and click the link in it.
Until you confirm, the dashboard is locked and you only see the confirmation page. If you made a typo, correct the address there with “Wrong address? Fix it here”.
- The confirmation email does not arrive.
- Look in the spam folder and check the address for typos. On the confirmation page, “Resend Confirmation Email” sends a new link.
Changing your password #

- Enter your current password.
- Enter the new password twice.
- Click “Save”.
Your account password has nothing to do with the gallery password your guests type in. The two sit in different places and are set separately.
Log in with the new password in a private browser window.
Signing up for or leaving the newsletter #

- Click “Sign up for the newsletter” or “Unsubscribe from the newsletter”.
The newsletter brings ideas on photo selection, presentation and delivery plus new aftersnap features, two emails a month at most. It goes to your account address.
The “Newsletter” section then reads “You are signed up for the newsletter.” or “You are not signed up for the newsletter.”
