Adapting the gallery link email to your style
The subject and text of the gallery link email can be overwritten with placeholders, and you set the salutation to one of four styles. Without a change of your own, the system template applies automatically.

Picking a salutation style #

- Click one of the four styles: a plain greeting with both names, a warmer one on a single line, the same on two lines, or the formal one with a surname.
- Tick “Ladies First” if you want it.
“Ladies First” only takes effect when you state the gender while sending. Without it, a neutral form is used.
Overwriting subject and text #

- Click “Edit”.
- Write your subject and your text.
- Insert placeholders through “Placeholder Help”, or type two curly braces to get suggestions.
- Click “Save”.
The cover photo, the “View Gallery” button and the password box are added automatically. Here you only write the text in between.
The live preview on the right shows the finished email with sample data. The switch above it runs through the versions for a couple, a single person and the formal address.
Which placeholders exist #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenThe placeholder overview lists every building block available: the greeting, the matching pronouns in upper and lower case, your personal message from the sending dialog, the gallery title, your name from your profile and your review link.
When sending, aftersnap replaces every placeholder with the real value. The preview shows you the result, not the braces.
The review link only fills up once you have connected your Google Business Profile under “Profile Page”.

- Click “Edit”.
- Click “Reset to Default”.
After that your email follows the system template again automatically, including later improvements we make to it. The “Custom Template” badge disappears.
