Set Recommendations from Lightroom
Through “File > Plug-in Extras > aftersnap: Send flags as recommendations”, the photos of a gallery that you flagged with P become your recommendations in proofing. The command mirrors the flags: a published photo without a flag loses its recommendation.

Send flagged photos as recommendations #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehen- In Lightroom Classic, flag the photos you recommend with the P key.
- Choose “File > Plug-in Extras > aftersnap: Send flags as recommendations”. The same command is under “Library > Plug-in Extras”.
- Choose the gallery and confirm with “Send”.
The closing message says how many photos of the gallery are now recommended and what changed. Your clients see the recommendation on the image and filter the set by it.
What the command changes and what it leaves alone #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenThe command compares every photo you published from this catalogue into the gallery. Flagged with P means recommended. Unflagged or rejected (X) means not recommended, even if you set the recommendation in the dashboard before.
Lightroom does not know images that came into the gallery through the browser. Their recommendations stay as they are.
The command changes nothing in your catalogue. Run it as often as you like, for example after flagging more photos.
Publishing does not transfer flags. Lightroom does not treat a photo as modified after its flag changes. That is why the flags have their own command.
When the plugin asks first #
Ab Tarif Pro Tarife ansehenIf not a single published photo is flagged, the plugin asks before it removes every recommendation from these photos. That protects you from picking the wrong gallery in the list.
It also asks when all photos are flagged. That happens if you use P to cull and publish only the flagged images: every image would be a recommendation, and the filter would no longer help your clients.
- The message says the gallery is not in proofing mode yet.
- The recommendations are saved. They show up as soon as you switch the gallery to proofing in aftersnap.
- The command is missing from the menu.
- It came with plugin version 0.9.1. Download the plugin again under “Lightroom” in the menu with your name and replace the folder.
